Homearama Real Estate Moves Again to Chesapeake For 2009
Posted by Dennis Blackmore in Virginia Beach, VA Area Information, tags: homearama, Suffolk, vaHomearama 2009 has now been moved for the second time to the real estate development of Culpepper Landing located in Chesapeake, Va.
Previously scheduled for the Virginia Beach real estate development of North Shore at Ridgely Manor it was then moved to Suffolk.
TheseĀ homes will offer the builder’s more freedom with design for their real estate and not have to deal with the condo challenge with the Suffolk delopment as
reported by the Virginia Pilot Online.
The homes at Culpepper Landing in Chesapeake will be smaller ranging from 1600 to approx 3000 square feet.
The real estate development is comprised of 488 acres near the Dismal Swamp and Canal.
Culpepper Landing is expected to attract more builders to the Homearama venture.
Previously reported, The Tidewater Builders Association (TBA) wanted to relocate from one million dollar plus properties (like homearama 2008 at Ashville Park, Virginia Beach) to more affordable market demands and pedestrian friendly, walkable communities.
Sales in this year’s Ashville Park Homearama site are slow with market reports showing little buying taking place.
Homearama 2009 is currently scheduled from September 19 through October 4, 2009.
