Virginia Beach Real Estate Market Report for 2009 (Condos and TownHomes)

by Dennis Blackmore on January 6, 2010

in Buyers, Real Estate, market reports

The following graphs for Virginia Beach Real Estate depict median price, days on market, inventory, and average price per square foot.

These real estate statistics reflect all four quartiles of prices (bottom, lower, upper, and top). Individual Virginia Beach neighborhood real estate statistics will vary by price range.

Absorption Rate: If no other homes were to come on the market it would take approximately 6.5 months to sell all inventory based on current sales. Once again, the absorption rate differs by price point – lower time to sell for bottom quartile homes and much higher for top quartile real estate. Virginia Beach has the best absorption rate in Hampton Roads at this time.
